Hosting Models and Replication Strategy
The hosting models are general infrastructure definitions to be suggested to restaurant owners over which the application will be deployed. The models must address different market segments. They should respond to the customer's budget and sales volume. Definitions included in this document may be varied according to needs. Not all hosting models preliminarily defined in this document will necessarily be offered to restaurant owners.
- Model A
At the extreme low-end of deployment options, a restaurant owner uses a single inexpensive display with a Mini PC connected through the HDMI port. Customers within reach of the Wi-Fi signal may launch the application with their smartphone or tablet and submit their orders.
- Model A-C
This model is the same Model A but with credit card processing.
